What NAD+ is
NAD+ is a molecule your cells use to turn food into energy. Enzymes linked to aging use it up, and its level may fall as you age. It isn’t a peptide.
Almost all its research in people used pills that the body turns into NAD+. No published study has given NAD+ by injection under the skin.

What the research shows.
NAD+ is a molecule your cells use to make energy from food. It isn’t a peptide. Almost all its research in people used pills that the body turns into NAD+, and no published study has given NAD+ by injection under the skin. Each study used its own supply, dose and schedule, so its results describe that study rather than promise what this pen will do.

Lab studies suggest that NAD+ outside the cells is broken down into smaller molecules before cells take it in, so an injection may act much as the pills do.
Allergy warning
Don’t use NAD+ if you have ever had an allergic reaction to it or to anything else in the pen. Get help straight away if you have swelling of the face, lips or throat, trouble breathing, or a rash that spreads after an injection.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding
NAD+ has not been studied in pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant or breastfeeding, talk with your doctor before using it.

Why is the strength in grams?

What side effects can NAD+ cause?
No published study has given NAD+ by injection under the skin, so its side effects that way are not known. Tell your doctor about any reaction where you inject it, or anything else unusual.
What testing does Pure99 complete for NAD+?
Every lot of NAD+ is tested by an independent laboratory in the USA before it is sold. The laboratory measures its purity by HPLC, tests it for bacteria and other microbes by PCR, and measures its endotoxins by LAL. Endotoxins are the toxins bacteria leave behind even in a sterile solution, and they can cause fever and aches after an injection.
