Sermorelin is the first part of the hormone that tells your body to release growth hormone, the 29 amino acids that do its work. It raises growth hormone by asking the body to make more, rather than by adding it.
It was once a medicine for children who make too little growth hormone, and it has been studied in small groups of older adults, by injection under the skin.

Allergy warning
