Your dose, on the dial.

The dial counts in units of 0.01 mL: 10 units is 0.10 mL, and 100 units, the most one press gives, is 1 mL. How much peptide a unit holds depends on the pen’s strength, so the same number of units gives a different dose on each pen. Enter the dose your doctor gave you to see how many units to set.

About BPC-157

What BPC-157 is

BPC-157 is a short chain of 15 amino acids, first developed in Croatia from a protein found in the stomach. It was studied as a possible treatment for bowel disease, and later for injuries to tendons, ligaments and muscle.

Nearly all its research is in rats. No study has yet tested it in people against a placebo, or given it to people by injection under the skin.

What BPC-157 is studied for

  • Tendons and ligaments: Studied in rats with a cut Achilles tendon or knee ligament.
  • Gut: Studied in rats for stomach ulcers, fistulas and inflamed bowels, where its research began.
  • Knee pain: Studied in one clinic’s report of 12 people given injections into the knee, with no comparison group.

Frequent questions

Is BPC-157 right for me?

BPC-157 has been studied mostly in rats, for injuries to tendons, ligaments and the gut. Because it hasn’t been tested in people against a placebo, no one can yet say how well it works in people. Talk with your doctor before you start.

How often is BPC-157 taken?

No study in people has set a schedule for BPC-157 under the skin. Follow the schedule your doctor sets.

What side effects can BPC-157 cause?

No published study has given BPC-157 to people by injection under the skin, so how it acts that way in people, and its side effects, are not known. Tell your doctor about any reaction where you inject it, or anything else unusual.

Can I use BPC-157 with TB-500?

Many people do, and Wolverine puts the two in one pen, so one injection gives both. In the only test of the two together, in rats, they healed a tendon no better than either one alone.

What testing does Pure99 complete for BPC-157?

Every lot of BPC-157 is tested by an independent laboratory in the USA before it is sold. The laboratory measures its purity by HPLC, tests it for bacteria and other microbes by PCR, and measures its endotoxins by LAL. Endotoxins are the toxins bacteria leave behind even in a sterile solution, and they can cause fever and aches after an injection.

How much BPC-157 should I take?

Take BPC-157 only as your doctor directs: Pure99 doesn’t recommend a dose. The pen’s dial counts in units of 0.01 mL, from 1 to 100 a press, and the same number of units gives a different dose on each pen. The dose guide on this page turns your dose into the number of units to set.

How many doses are in one BPC-157 pen?

Every pen holds 3 mL, which is 300 units on the dial. How many doses that makes depends on your dose: the dose guide on this page shows how many doses of your size a pen holds.
